In honour of our beloved Gurudeva Paramahansa Yogananda, local authorities of Jammu named a road after him as Paramahansa Yogananda Path. The road inauguration ceremony took place on January 10, 2015. It was presided over by Shri Kiran Wattal, Municipal Commissioner, Jammu and was inaugurated by a senior YSS sannyasi Swami Nityananda Giri. The road stretches for about 1.75 kms and links the Jammu Dhyana Kendra to the main road.

The function was a memorable event which was attended by a large number of YSDK Jammu devotees. Later a spiritual discourse on Principles of Balanced Living was given by Swami Nitayananda Giri. It was well received. At the end of the function devotees were served with ‘Priti Bhog’.
